Uwe Boll's film based on videogame Postal had it's trailer "leaked" to the internet recently. It features a window washer who is hit by a plane headed at a skyscraper. Postal is comedy. Hardy har har. People, predictably, reacted with dismay at the controversial clip. Because Boll loves a good fight, he responded yesterday to his critics. Mr. Boll's words speak for themselves: Postal is a necessary wake up call and we make fun in that movie about everybody. We blame the stupid Islam Extremists as retards and I portray myself as a Nazi - so there are no rules we are not breaking. Where are the times where a movie like Life of Brian was made? It was time…

The newest member of the Seanchan org and possible future Family member. Ummm this is the point where you give a big speech like you just received an important award. And the rest of us will comment on your gown like we are ... wow..... that ancient lady from E.... that does red carpets. It really ruins my flow when I forget the punchline..... Anyway, welcome to the Org!

That's right, gamers, the online gaming world is about to be rocked to its very core by the launch of a dance oriented Massively Multiplayer Online Game. Acclaim is the genius (?) developer behind Dance! Online, a rythym based MMO that will allow players to meet up with friends and re-enenact the exciting climax of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (below). I finally caught up with the craze and saw it today. My brother has offically decided it is the best film he has ever seen "In my entire life!!!1111oneone!!1!" and I definately thought it was entertaining though I am perhaps not as enthusiastic as my brother For those of you who haven't seen it, it's a british film about a Police Officer who moves from London to a small english village. It is made by the same guys who did Shaun of the Dead and that should pretty much tell you how it goes. I thought it was hilarious. You pretty much get the impression that Simon Pegg and Nick Frost sat down toegther and said "Hey! Let's make another film in which we get to use guns…

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Da Vinci Code director Ron Howard and star Tom Hanks are in final talks to return for the prequel Angels & Demons. The trade says that Columbia Pictures, which benefited from "Da Vinci's" $758 million worldwide box office earnings, has set an early January start date and has hired A-list casting directors Jane Jenkins and Debbie McWilliams to fill out the thriller's supporting roles. Akiva Goldsman is adapting Dan Brown's novel, in which Harvard professor Robert Langdon tries to solve a murder and unravel a plot by an ancient group, the Illuminati, to blow up the Vatican during a papal conclave. The studio is eyeing…

To all DMers, Some of you will know that the Band of the Red Hand ORG has put a lot of time and effort into our first edition of a revised Hornsounder to make it bigger and better than before, turn it from a newsletter to a newspaper, but more importantly, make it so that it is for you, the members of DM, to read. However, many of you will not know this, so with your ORG Leader's permission, I am going to leave The Hornsounder team explain what is new, what is exciting, and how you can get involved. As I said, this is the first edition, and over the coming months, and hopefully years, The Hornsounder will grow and improve, and become the monthly newspaper that all…

10. Mallrats, 1995: A Brief Overnight Pause Okay, I admit it: I love "Mallrats." It's considered Kevin Smith's worst movie - wait, check that, I forgot about "Jersey Girl" - but it still makes me laugh continuously every time I watch it. The scene starts at the beginning of the movie where Brodie (a hilarious Jason Lee) is awaked by his disgruntled girlfriend (Shannen Doherty). He begins searching frantically around the bed before picking up a Sega Saturn controller and resuming a game of NHL Hockey 94 that he had left on pause the night before. His girlfriend, in complete disbelief, demands that Brodie take her to breakfast but he resists, committing himself to beati…

ok. I know, I know, most of you don't watch Bravo reality shows, however... Last night was the season finale of Top Design and I really enjoyed it. Each of the remaining two designers had to design their dream loft space. What a cool challenge! And they did fantabulous work. Even though I wasn't super in to all the episodes this season I think that it has the potential of being as strong or stronger than Project Runway (I know, I know, blasphemy). But on to the topic of this post... Shear Genius. I wasn't sure how they could stretch hair-cutting in to a full hour, but they did it well. Each episode will have a hair cutting challenge (apparantly on a mannequ…

If you haven't seen this Tarantino/Rodriguez double feature.... go see it! It's a ton of fun. Nothin' like blood, zombies, a chick with a gun for a leg, great car chases, and hilarious fake trailers. So like I said, go see it. It's definitely worth three hours. And if you have seen it....what did ya think??

The Apple iPod is more than just a well-designed MP3 and video player. It's also a life-saver. The above photo shows a 'Pod that might have saved the life of Kevin Garrad, a U.S. Infantryman in Iraq. Garrand's fourth-generation iPod was blasted by a 7.62mm bullet fired by an Iraqi insurgent. The bullet went clear through the MP3 player, but didn't penetrate his Kevlar armor. Maybe the iPod slowed the bullet just enough to save the guy's life.

E-online does this thing every year where they put up a poll and let us vote on one show to Save.... which really means E will use all its resources to talk the show up and hopefully save it from being canceled. Anyway, read about the contenders and vote if you want here. LOOKING SAFE 30 Rock: Say it with me now. Our father of comedy, Alec Baldwin, hallowed be thy name...This series is clearly the breakout comedy of the season, so sources tell me it's looking like a shoo-in to return. So, yay! Just another good reason for Jack Donaghy to put on that tuxedo. Friday Night Lights: NBC execs love this show. And that makes me love NBC execs. This is without a do…

So, we are now taking nominations for all time worst tv shows EVER! Feel free to nominate more than one, as we will be narrowing it down for a poll later. I'll start with Farscape. I have seen all of 15 minutes of this show, and it made me nauseous.

I mean I would vote Yveva first... but this news saddens me.... Jessica Biel has beaten her reported one-time love rival Scarlett Johansson to the top of a new Sexiest Women poll. Both actresses were romantically linked to Justin Timberlake at the beginning of 2007, although Johansson, who appeared in the pop star's steamy "What Goes Around, Comes Around" video, has recently denied she dated the singer. But, if the rumors were true, Timberlake was dating the two top women in the world, according to men's magazine Stuff. Biel finished first and Johansson second in the publication's 100 Sexiest Women list. The two women, who were recently spotted shopping together in Pa…

Yep, tomorrow I am heading to Colorado for a few days and will not be back until Monday next week. Please keep discussing topics. Now is the time I get to leave someone in charge... Yveva would be my first choice, but she is coming with me on the trip, so that would not really work out would it? Seggie would be next, but he is in Vegas through the rest of the week *shakes fist* So I am going with Hax this time. Basically he will just make sure nothing needs to be modded or whatnot (is modded a word?).

So when I found a group where I could discuss Dancing with the Stars, Robin Hood, and try to stump myself with movie quotes all at the same time, I just had to join. I'm going home to shave the sides of my head and paint my pinkies! I'm Seanchan!

So...errr... who is watching this? I hear good things about it. If you are watching it, why should I watch it?

Pe Ell, welcome to Seanchan. It looks like you have already made yourself at home with posting and starting threads... and that's awesome! Some suggestions: Look Caddy in the eyes... your eyes may tend to wander to her siggie but pretend it is the sun and do not stare at it for too long. Corki will talk about how great the Band is... blah blah blah... but really he knows the Seanchan is the cat's pajamas. I just wanted to say Cat's pajamas... Kait will be jealous that her newness has worn off and thus pretend to be a SC veteran... just humor her. Ummm... who else wants me to comment about them *g*?
