These guys really did a great job. What started out as a little rivalry on TheForce.net turned out to be one of the best fight sequences I've seen. Here is the first one. It is about 5 minutes long. Now here is their long awaited sequel. 10 minutes long

I posted this just before the board meltdown of aught seven and figured I'd put it up again. For those of you not familiar with the british series "Little Britain", take a few moments to review some of these sketches from one of the most brilliantly funny things to come out of the British Isles since the invention of the cat. Think of it as an extra-raunchy Monty Python. And if you have Netflix, it deserves to be in your queue. Except for disc 2 of season 1. You can skip that one. The rest of the seasons are great, though. Here are some of the sketches I found on youtube: Emily opens a ladies shop: Isn't it wonderful being a lady? I am one!" Daffyd meets …

Bah, the post was eaten... Casting news: Tim Daly is set to guest star in the "enhanced" two-hour episode of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," designed to serve as a springboard for a potential spinoff from the hit medical drama. Paul Adelstein also has been cast as a guest star in that episode with an eye to co-star on the potential spinoff series toplined by Kate Walsh, who plays Addison Montgomery-Shepherd. Chris Lowell has landed a coveted role in the pilot for ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff, reports Variety. The two join previously cast Taye Diggs. A casting breakdown also includes a female psychiatrist and a female fertility specialist.

As part of his keynote speech today (and during a special press briefing yesterday), Sony Computer Entertainment' Phil Harrison officially opened the doors on Home for PS3. This unique avatar-based real-time virtual community will enter a large scale beta trial in April and the service itself (which will be found after a free download on the XMB) is scheduled to launch this fall. Before describing and demonstrating Home in detail, Harrison first discussed what Game 3.0 (the title of his presentation) really means. Essentially, Game 1.0 was represented by the disconnected console and static game discs; Game 2.0 was brought to us by connected consoles (or PCs) that offe…

Not the actual title... Just when thought it was safe to go back to the South, word seems to be that everybody’s favorite accidentally famous Alabaman is returning to the big screen. That’s right, the Forrest Gump sequel might actually happen after all. The script was written years ago by Eric Roth, who also scripted the original, and is based on the sequel novel Gump & Co. by Winston Groom. The script has been sitting in a file in some movie mogul’s office for the last decade and change, but has apparently been dusted off and shown the sun in recent weeks. Gump & Co. takes place in the 1980s and 1990s with Gump a single, unemployed father following th…

  16. First off, please do not read this post if you are behind on BSG. Ok is Starbuck dead? The evidence: ‘I am dead as far as I know,” Katee Sackoff claims in her first interview following Kara “Starbuck” Thrace’s apparent demise on Sunday's “Battlestar Galactica.” She also tells KUFO-FM’s Cort and Fatboy that she’s shooting a pilot for NBC, so she might not even be all that available even for “Galactica” flashbacks if that pilot goes to series. “I did sign a six-year contract,” she mentions at one point. “Galactica” is an NBC/Universal show just completing its third season. She also says she plays Starbuck at least one more time – on Se…

Ok. I don't really play video games, but I have spent years watching other people play them, so I figured, who better to kick off a Backseat Gamer Review feature than me! Today's review is for crackdown. When I first watched the demo I wasn't impressed, but watching the actual game is more amusing. The Good: 1. I can help spot green agility orbs and help pick which to jump for first. 2. Mocking the character for jumping like a faerie. 3. Watching explosions. 4. Assisting on finding checkpoints for rooftop races. 5. Very little down time. The Annoying: 1. Some random voiceover guy gives instructions and information during the game, while this is helpf…

So, I watched Music and Lyrics on Monday (ages ago, I know). It was a decent chick flick. From here on out I will rate chick flicks with the following system: H: Honors P: Pass F: Fail This one gets a P from me. It was good, it was cute, the preview didn't show you everything. It was actually funny, it was sweet. You could kinda believe the relationship between Drew and Hugh (ew! rhyme!) The best part was the opening 80s-esque music video, that song will be played at my wedding, it is decided (Shh Emp). So this is a classic example of a Pass movie. It't good, I would watch it again, I would thoroughly recommend it to friends and it makes you go "awwww."…

Ok, I know we already discussed the implications of this actually happening, the general consensus being that we will all collectively crap our pants and subscribe to HBO. But there was a small part of that previous thread that I am really interested in exploring further: the cast. I thought the casting of the Lord of the Rings trilogy was one of the arguably many things that made it so very good. It was almost like Peter Jackson reached into my skull and pulled out the characters I had always pictured and found people to match them exactly. I think the same could be said of this new project. Without the right cast, we could end up with another "Merlin" or "Dune"…

Here is the quickest way to get 1500 points for the Old Spice Challenge. * King Kong: This relatively easy game will give you 1000 points for beating it. Unfortunately, this means you’ll actually have to play through the agonizingly boring crab stabbing levels in the first part of the game. * Fight Night Round 3: If you like boxing, this game might actually be worth buying. In addition, the achievements consist of winning eight specific sponsored fights, all of which will take place during the career mode. If you want to blow though the game, turn down the difficulty level and still get the gamer score. * NBA 2K6 / NCAA 2K6: Possibly the Holy Grail of ea…

Let me know what you think about this movie. I think it will be too much awesomeness for one movie and honestly I am a little tired of superhero movies. Source: Variety February 23, 2007 Warner Bros. Pictures is looking to make a feature based on super team the Justice League of America, hiring writing duo Kiernan and Michele Mulroney to write the script, reports Variety. It's the first major action the studio has taken on the project. The feature film is bound to include some combination of DC's most iconic superheroes, although the studio wouldn't confirm which ones they might be. It's unlikely that the studio and DC Comics, a division of Warner, would…
