normally, when there is a change of POV in the middle of a chapter it's made clear by just an empty space of 2-3 rows, but now and again there are 3 little stars in that space instead for example, in TGS i found 2 instances of it. one in the Prolouge between the POV of Tylee Khirgan and Granedal and one in chapter 12 between the POV of Egwene and....Egwene so waht are these little stars? what do they mean? do they mean anything at all, or am i reading to much into it cause i haven't made a good theory topic in a while?

I tried searching for a topic like this, and couldn't find it, so if one does exist, just ignore this. The title pretty much says it all. Who do you think/hope/expect to die in the last two books? As much as I want her to, I don't expect Elayne to die, since Aviendha says that she will have sister-wives, as in, more than one. However, out of the 3 really loyal Asha'man (Flinn, Narishma, and Logain), I only expect one to survive. If someone else does, only one can be M'Hael, and how will that be decided? Now that Tower is reunited I expect them and others to be raised Accepted immediately. But what about Aes Sedai. Taina is already giving the stronger/more skilled women advanced lessons. Will they be fast tracked to the Shawl in order for Tarmon Gaidin? It be rather lame to have women as strong as Sharina and Bode cooped up in the Tower while the apocalypse goes down. A big bonus would be a scene between Mat and his Aes Sedai sister. ;D

So as anyone who's ever touched the series knows, LTT and the 100 companions sealed the bore on the DO's prison with saidin. Because of this, the DO was able to touch saidin and leave an oily taint upon it. However, in the latest book, Rand gets the ability to touch the DO's power directly. With this power alone, I don't think it would be enough to kill the dark one, but hey! Rand's got callandor, which is "unsafe". This leads me to believe that the sword is somehow capable of not only amplifying saidin, but the true source as well because it lacks the usual safety precautions a usual sa'angreal has. ... the book series would be if they had the Sprint push-to-talk network. Seriously, don't you find points of the story and just go, "Man, if they would just talk for 5 seconds they'd save an entire plotline from going off point."

Now we all know Galad and Perrin are gonna meet and that eventual Perrin will save Rand later on. But what happens in between? Is it all gonna be Whitecloak politics and Slayer shenningans in TAR? Is there gonna be anything on a larger scale going down in Ghealdan and northern Altara? Will the Seanchan go looking for the Whitecloaks. Will Perrin and co. run into the Darkhounds or other Shadowspawn? What about the 100k refugees?

So far, we've only seen either a woman bonding a man, or a man bonding a woman, but we've not seen anything about an aes sedai and a man who can channel that both performed the bond. What do you think would happen to them? Any speculations? it would be fun to see what others think

So according to the recent blurb release for ToM, Perrin has an unseen enemy. This unseen foe is not Slayer or the Whitecloaks, but something else. Something he must seek answers to in TAR. What is the Champion of the Light? Is this some crazy theory, or did RJ actually say there is a Champion of the Light who is seperate from the Dragon?

His power blade cuts through them and they split and reform. Now this could be a result of a bubble of evil, but i dont buy it. The interesting thing that got me was the section on Darkhounds in the BWB, at the end of it it mentions this "new breed' of Darkhounds and has an ominous suggestion that it is an important point. Mehan, Teramina and Jamilila are the three Aes Sedai Egwene identifies as potential candidates for Mesaana-hood, as all three disapeared before the reswearing, were not in Verin's list, but were on Saerin consensus, and thus had not been taken by the Seanchan. In The Gathering Storm, Rand think about a famous searcher from the Age of Legend. Jorlan Corbesan was the most brilliant crafter of Ter'angreal. He died during the drilling of the Bore and the explosion of the Sharom , as his research facility was located there. Rand complaints about the fact that the Seanchan, the Atha An'Miere and the Aiel are more or less killing people who can channel (I don't remember which chapter it is, but Rand is speaking with Harine and she describes the choice given to Male Channellers). Hey there guys and gals. Been thinking for about a year or two now of getting replica Dragon tattoos on my forearms like Rands. Can anyone link me some super detailed pictures for reference? I have yet to find any I like enough to ink them on my skin for life. And my other concern is do you think it's too much fandom? Am I a little loopy to do this all because I've enjoyed a book series? comments, thoughts? ^_^b

If men can't link, and all the forsaken were trapped inside the bore or seal(indicating they weren't close enough to LTT to be fighting), then were the 100 companions just sitting around saying "do it LTT, we go your back"? Or did they play a role in the sealing? Is there a way for constructs with the power to made using simultaneous male (or female) channeling, but not linking? I think I remember parts about ter'angreal being used in such a way, but not a standing flow.

I just feel like I need something BIG soon. The news of ToM being "finished" and in editing has got me aching for some big news and/or releases of new content. I know they don't owe me anything, and they're still more willing than every before to release new WoT content regularly (which is Awesome btw), but I need SOMETHING new, like an electronic version of the prologue, or sample chapters, or something BIG that will help me through the slump of waiting. Well with things the way they are in the Black Tower, it is possible that these two dudes will be at loggerheads soon. So how will it play out and how would you like it to play out? I would like to see both Logain and Taim being DF's and Perrin discovers this with his dreaming ability and he warns Rand sabout how Logain and Taim are playing him for a fool. Then Rand, Narishman and the other bonded Asha'man go in and confront them. So, we all know about the attack on the Manor Rand is staying at in KoD, and how Moridin says that Sammael or somebody impersonating Sammael sent Trollocs through the ways. I have just come across something that gave me an idea. From what we see of Taim's "Palace" in the Black Tower, he has effected Sammael's own sigil. Could it be that he sent the Trollocs? He would be the most likely to know where Rand was staying of all of the Shadow. It happened after Logain and his people turned up, a close thing, and they mention if Logain hadnt turned up so timely they would have been toast. I just finished KoD and started TGS. I was wondering...what is the meaning of the title Knife of Dreams? I was thinking from the title that the book would involve a knife of some sort that was involve, in some fashion, with Tel'aran'rhiod.

So, I'm wondering what is going to be the point of Morgase in the rest of the series. I'm on my whatever number read through and am currently reading TFoH and just got past the part where she heads off with Lini, Tallanvor, Gill, and that couple. Anyway...what's her plot for the rest of the story? I'll admit, I don't remember much about her in the later books, but from where I stand right now, I don't remember her having much of a point except to use the Power and blow the red scarf (yay for her). Anyway, any opinions or insights?

Just finished the prologue and something caught my attention, It says that Lews Therin's hair was more white than brown. If he was not bound by oaths, he must be very very VERY old. In comparison to his life, 3000 year out of commission might not be that long. Some other thoughts much of the technology of the past was supposed to work with the OP. When saidin was corrupted, did they go crazy like the ways? Evil possessed jo-cars! Also, the prologue is falling out of my Eye of the World, and its brand new! So I was at my local Games Workshop store yesterday and an idea came to me, wouldn't it be cool if games workshop decided to produce WOT miniatures and create a strategy game like they do with LOTR and Warhammer? Do you guys think they might do it as Red Eagle Entertainment want to produce a movie based on the series and the Lord of the Rings is getting kinda old. Also I think there are so many possibilities for a Wheel of Time miniature strategy game eg: In the LOTR miniatures game you get the Mines of Moria set which comes with the Fellowship and a bunch of Goblins to start you off. Hey everyone, just finishing tGS again and i read a passage i missed earlier. Basically, Min Cads and Nynaeve are waiting for the fallout from the Rand/Tam meeting, Min and cads talk callandor, then min views Nynaeve kneeling in grief over a corpse. she shrugs it off as one of the random visions she gets that she cant interpret, but this one seems pretty specific to me. So the question is, which loved one of Nynaeve's dies in the next two books? Lan seems likely.

Why does he need to release the power? Other forsaken find themselves blocked...
