Yer mum.  That was my initial response.  Now, think of how much work creating DM 8 must be, without having to transfer post counts and old threads. It sucks for us, but it would be much worse for someone else if we got our wish regarding posts and threads.

We did it the last...couple times.

My point is, why not now?  Why must we start all over now?

I am under the impression that DM has grown and evolved a lot, and to add in all the stuff that was formerly kept on off-site boards, DM 8 is looking to be huge. More work than before.
