What pisses me off most about this, is that they do it all the time.  Take away from our post count.  They only recently had re-added Fiddlesticks posts to the post count, but all posts made during the period of uncountingness weren't counted.

Now I have to start all over again.  I just hope I can reach 50,000 posts before they do it all over again.  I mean, what's the point in post count, if every 5 years, everyone starts fresh?

Well, I get your frustration. It's tough to deal with your accomplishments being erased and ignored. And sometimes that clean slate isn't convenient or nice at all. Just try not to fret about it until the switch ir looming nearer. :)

Its only been done one time, and that was a huge mess. Caused a lot of problems and the boards were not at all ready for us when they switched everything over. The decision to do things this way was made some time back and won't be changed now, the boards are too close to completion and being prepped for the staff members to go in and set up their boards for the members now, which since Matalina is doing this in her spare time between paying clients means it could be a few months yet.

As much as we love our post count here in fiddles, it is the lowest priority for DM staff as most members of Dragonmount don't care about it at all. They aren't going to go through the fiasco that moving to DM 7.0 was for the sake of the post count of 10-15 out of the 8000 registered members.

Sorry guys.

Thanks for explaining the decision more fully, Barm!

It does make more sense....

I don't like it either, but thats how it is, it actually does make more sense this way.

I do!  I do!  5, 10, 15, 20, 25.... See?  But you said something about a font change, right?

Hm... I'll try and get to the library tomorrow.  I wanna see. Meesh needs a laptop.

Thats something local to you probably Dsage, the font size, avatars and sigs haven't changed at all in size for me.
