They pretty much stopped using food cubes before the end of the first season. I'm halfway through season four now and wondering if modern-day Crichton ever gets to learn who "Karen Shaw" really was.

I should get home to find that Soulseek has finished downloading The Peacekeeper Wars. That last scene of the series with John and Aeryn in the boat was lovely, though.

Hmm, that was definitely a tune, but I can't recall which one. Sad, eh?

<JohnathanDoe> i don't do drugs

<klig> remember what i said about admitting you had a problem, matt?

<JohnathanDoe> yeah

<klig> that goes for crack too

<JohnathanDoe> but i don't do crack

<klig> ok, let's try this one

<klig> remember what i said about a lobotomy, matt?

<JohnathanDoe> not really

<JohnathanDoe> you didn't say much of anything about a lobotomy

<klig> see?

<klig> you are such a crackhead

<JohnathanDoe> are you guys talking privately to come up with new bizarre things to say to me?

<klig> no

<klig> we work better on our own

<JohnathanDoe> if you are, then it iis, by definition, a conspiracy

<klig> you're a *paranoid* crackhead

Ha, there's only one and a half people in my chat logs that I still keep in contact with at all.

*doesn't take the obvious route*

So, are you bummed out about that?

I dunno, I used to be, like six or seven years ago. The further you get away from things, the less they upset you. Nothing upsets me now because I'm far away from everything.

The only part that ever particularly got to me was that none of them, nobody I was ever friends ever matched any of the effort I made to maintain ties.

Are you far away from the computer, too?

Yeah, I hate it when people do that. It's like, "JERKS, WHAT, I DON'T MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU?!?!?!"

Been there.

I'm never far away from the computer. That's not the cause of problems, just one of the symptoms.
