Bah, in like 20ish minutes I have to get the baby up and in a stroller to go pick up the kids from the bus stop...luckily it's nearly 50 out today.

Can't wait till I get my license now (OH MY GOSH WHY DID I SAY THAT NOOOOOO....). The lady left her car for me to drive to get them, but I really can't do that... XD

Oh, hiya, Nya!

How be thee?

i always liked taking care of kids but i never had to deal with more than 3 at a time.

I get 4 today. Baby, plus 3 school-aged. Normally only 3, but the parents are going out later than normal so the oldest is home when I'm here too.

Worst time I ever babysat was when I was 11ish. Didn't get paid, it was for my mom.

She went to take one brother to a friend's house. Said she'd be back in 15 minutes.

Was gone for 2 hours. I had 4 obnoxious siblings (one was an infant), plus 2 guests. One guest was even more hyperactive and troublemaking than the brother he was there to spend the night with. The other guest was a nightmare. She was there to play with my sister, and she was SOOOOO bossy. Not even kidding. She called her parents and TOLD them she was spending the night, and they were like "okay." She kept telling me what to do...she was like 7.

It felt like a mad house.

I wanted to shoot my mom.

Or at least get paid.

hi nya.

i'm still scared to drive with kids in the car. they love it but it freaks me out.

I would be too....*shudders*

i took care of my sister for free, but she was my sister, and an angel. and only one of her. best job ever.

maybe you can celebrate national ice cream day with them and shut them up for a while.

Is that today?

Ha, I don't think they have ice cream here....

But I get to give them snacks and let them watch TV, plus I can threaten Marvin the Elf on them if they misbehave. >.>

yeah, i don't mind risking my own life, but being responsible for kids in the car... and they sing and chatter and need you to chatter back and take so much attention its hard to pay enough to the road...

i pray constantly while driving with children.

i usually tried to just let them do what they wanted as long as it didnt annoy me, and they were smart enough not to annoy me.

The 3 I normally watch usually are smart enough for that.

The oldest one is a monster sometimes though. She thinks it's funny to be annoying and a troublemaker and to get her siblings to join in.

The one time I babysat her was enough for me.

Fricassee, I needs to go.

Bah, humbug. Back in a few hours. XD

good luck mmeesh...don't succumb to the powers of the littlies! *shakes fists* we must prevail against our younger siblings, or they shall take over the world and wrench it from our own grasps!
